Lady Marmalaide Bridal offers a wide selection of some of the most beautiful, exclusive designer wedding dresses in the world. As the reality of wedding preparations sets in, you may start to feel overwhelmed that you won’t find a dress that fits your budget, suits your body and makes you look and feel beautiful.
With over 7 years’ experience in the bridal industry, our goal is to create a relaxing, professional atmosphere in helping you find the perfect wedding dress. We pride ourselves in offering an uplifting and nurturing experience for all brides to-be, highlighting and enhancing their true beauty, while paying close attention to customer service.

Our Studio
Our studio is nested in a quiet, relaxing location, in the heart of Bonnie Doon, East London. Home away from home! We can comfortably host up to six people, including the bride-to-be.
The Experience
Choosing a wedding dress with your closest family and friends is part of the ritual and celebration of getting married. Our aim is to ensure every Lady Marmalaide experience is a memorable one. We pride ourselves in excellent customer service and walk each bridal journey every step of the way. Our consultations are relaxed, warm and welcoming. Depending on your preferences, we offer various one-on-one consultations by appointment only, so be sure to check out our different options. Our friendly and experienced consultants have a meticulous eye for detail, and will really listen to you and advise you honestly on the various styles and options we offer

Everything about the wedding process should be special and significant for you, and choosing your wedding dress is certainly one of those memorable moments. Before you even think about wedding dress shopping, check out our quick list of “Do’s & Don’ts”, which we strongly suggest.
DO begin shopping for your wedding dress at least 8-10 months before your wedding. You might not think you will need that much time, but you may need extra time to find your perfect dress. Plus, you will need time to make any needed alterations.
DO have an open mind. Avoid narrowing down your options, unless you are absolutely certain of what you want to wear or see yourself in. Trust your consultant to pick styles that will compliment your body type.
DO have a wedding dress budget. This is essential. If you don’t know what wedding dresses cost, do a bit of homework before you start shopping. It’s important to set a budget, as this will guide your consultant in finding a dress within that bracket.
DON’T fuss over weight-loss! It’s one thing to want to look and feel your best on your big day, but your fiancé loves you as you are girl! However, be mindful that if you fit wedding dresses with the hope of being 10kgs lighter on your wedding day, you’ll more than likely end up wearing a totally different dress and style. So, don’t make any decisions until you know where you stand with your body.
DON’T do it alone! When shopping for your gown try to bring 1 or 2 key people. Bring the friends and/or family members whose opinions matter to you the most and you know will be supportive of your vision.
